Commissions¶
According to the new "concept of ministry" there are ordained ministries and assigned or appointed functions.
Effects of the new concept of ministry¶
There are two main tasks with new this "functional structure"- managing the masterdata of the functions/commissions
- linking the assigned and appointed functions to the member
Managing the Masterdata¶
The leadership and helper functions are:- Chief Apostle Helper
- District Apostle
- District Apostle Helper
- Lead Apostle
- Bishop
- District Rector
- Delegate of District Rector
- Congregational Rector
- Delegate of Congregational Rector
To ensure all functions are available in your OASYS Client you have to open the client by clicking on the menu on the left sidebar:
Select the "Details" of the Client you want to edit:
Then you have to go the Masterdata (not Commissions!) AND SELECT "Change and customize"
In the upcoming menu, please go to the "Commissions" and select "Details"
With "Create New" and "Edit" you are able to manage the commissions regarding to your needs.
Be careful - the status of an commission has to be "active" othervise you can't select it in the members menu.
In a later version of OASYS, there will be a function to delete unused masterdata.
Linking the Functions to the Member¶
To link a commission to an existing member plase consider the following:
- ordained ministers (since pentecost 2019 only Deacon, Priest, Apostle are possible) have to be entered in the "Ministries" section.
- the leading or helper functions are appinted or assigned, they are located in the "Commissions"
This ordained Priest was later than pentecost 2019 assigned to be a Bishop, so it looks like this:
